Greek Word of the Day – Made/Poieo (Strongs 4160)

The Greek word for today is ‘made’ from Acts 17:24 talking about when God made everything from Genesis as in Genesis 1:31. The Genesis use of the word is in the Hebrew and is not what is meant by the Strongs number 4160 Greek word.
31 God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.
Genesis 1:31 (NASB)

24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
Acts 17:24 (KJV)
