Greek Word of the Day – Practicing/Prasso (Strongs 4238)

15 For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate.

Romans 7:15 (NASB)

I think it’s interesting to see some of the additional meanings that flavor this word. For example, “to be busy with” and “to manage public affairs, transact public business”. That last one seems to signify the idea that how we practice our faith and how we live our lives should be intertwined rather than separated.
