Greek Word of the Day – Know/Ginosko (Strongs 1097)

8 The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
1 John 4:8 (NASB)

The Greek Word for the Day, Ginosko, is fairly straight forward as Greek New Testament words go.  The only slight twist is the inclusion of the word ‘understand’, which carries a subtle difference.  I encourage you to compare the English words ‘Know’ and ‘Understand’.  For my simple explanation of these two words read my devotion on this scripture, found HERE.
